The DAV Summit Club is the Mountaineering School attached to the German Alpine Club. It is also a specialist tour operator for mountaineering and activity-oriented cultural trips worldwide. The Summit Club grew out of the DAV’s mountain guide service that was set up in 1957. Today it is a global player in the specialist travel market. For the last 50 years, we have been providing courses and tours to the most attractive mountain ranges and regions of the world. Our guiding principle has always been “the way is the goal". As the DAV professional mountaineering school, we offer training and advanced courses at all levels.

Activities: alpine training, powder snow skiing/freeriding, ski-touring, snowshoe walking, dog-sledding programmes, climbing, via ferrata, high-altitude expeditions, hiking, trips to European and other destinations, expeditions, and mountain biking.
