Since she was 12 years old, Angelika Rainer, an agricultural-science student from South Tyrol, has been upwardly mobile. Her achievements speak for themselves: several titles in the Italian Youth Bouldering and Sports Climbing Championships, Italian Cup Winner 2007, twice Italian Ice Climbing Champion (2007, 2008) and victory in the Ice Climbing World Cup in Saas Fee (Switzerland) in 2008. Angelika is now climbing 8a+ routes. Those who know this ambitious young globetrotter from Meran say there is a lot more to come.
